I have an appointment with another GI specialist and this time I am armed
with a number of symptoms that I think match perfectly with intestinal
permeability (leaky gut). The first GI doctor I saw didn't give me a
diagnosis other than I didn't have CD. I am very sensitive to gluten, and
also react to most sugars and potatoes. Dairy doesn't seem to bother me,
though maybe I not recognizing the symptoms.

Has anyone undergone intestinal permeability tests? I read you ingest a
sugar solution and they measure your urine for traces of sugar products.
If you have leaky gut syndrome what can you do about it? I started taking
FOS (FructoOligoSaccharide), has this helped anyone?

I was taking to a chiropractor the other day and he seems more
knowledgeable about treating my symptoms than the GI specialists,
internists, allergists etc. that I have met so far. After 3 years of
basically no help from the traditional medical profession I think I am
ready to take a chance. Has anyone received good treatment from a non
traditional medical professional like a chiropractor or naturopath?

Thanks for your help
