Received replies from people who suffer from both celiac and Raynauds.
Many supposed it was incidental to another disease (diabetes,
rheumatoid, etc.) or just a fluke (had not related the two together
before now). About 75% were female (Raynaud's has a higher incidence in
females), but about 25% were males. People reported relief by putting
hands in warm water, wearing extra warm gloves or socks (silk gloves
also suggested), or rubbing the hands gently until the circulation
returned. It it seems to occur during any season in response to contact
with something cold or being chilly (not just winter). Thanks to the
people who responded. This could be another piece of the celiac
puzzle. Sally
