Well, Fromm was German, and Swales is Welsh -- actually, he divides his time
between Wales and NYC, perhaps the reason why he did not respond.  In my
experience, he generously distributes his papers.

As to differences between psa. in various countries, there is Edith Kurzweil
s _The Freudians_, and the two-volumed _Psychoanalysis International_, ed.
Peter Kutter.  Also the recently published _Dictionnaire de la psychanalyse_
by Elisabeth Roudinesco and Michel Plon (Fayard) might help.
