Hi all!
Today I responded to a message asking for info on gf status of
carbamazepine and tylenol. I contacted Mcneil pharmaceuticals (makers of
Tylenol products) and was informed all starch in McNeil products comes from
corn. Their number is 1-800-962-5357. She seemed very knowledgeable and
checked to make sure there was no maltodextran the regular and
extra-strength tylenol caplets, so they should be safe for everybody.
Vence Brett at the Ciba company told me that all of their tablets were
gluten free, but couldn't guarentee chewable or liquid forms that number is
1-908-277-5000. I then talked to Claire at the Lemmon company who
manufactures and labels numerous generics and she said all of their
products are gluten free and use only cornstarch. Their number is
1-215-256-8400. Hope this helps.
