As one of the "1900" on the celiac list - Please leave the man alone!

If in fact - NOT RUMOR - he is allergic to wheat or better yet (tongue in
cheek) a Celiac, I am sure he has the best medical advice in the world
available to he and his medical staff. Let's not cloak our hunger for
publicity in an obvious veil of phoney concern.

Yes, it would be extremely helpful to our cause to have someone of his
prominence as a fellow sufferer - and indeed, a great boon for the
recognition we all desire. But, first of all I don't wish my disease upon
anyone. Secondly I think there is a better way to get the recognition we are
all seeking.

What we need is the scientific proof - once and for all - that the incidence
of Celiac Disease in the U.S. is comparable to that of every other country
where our genetic ancestors and relatives are - 300 to 1.

What we need is for someone(s) of financial means to provide the funds for an
in-depth epidemilogical study in the U.S. as Dr. Fasano of the University
Of Maryland, has been trying to tell us at least the last 2 years. Once we
have our anticipated ONE MILLION Celaics, then - AND ONLY THEN - will we get
our deserved recognition and all it's medical, economic, and life style
benefits.

Please let me know your responses!
