Hello:
I agree with that fact that explaining this disease is very hard. I have
gotten this far away glaze if I use the word "gluten". Most people don't
have a clue what it is and really don't care. I usually just say that it
makes me sick. I try not to go into the lengthly details as to what it
really does to my intestines. Here again they really don't care. I just
hate it when my husband, in a restaurant, goes into detail on why I can't
eat something. I've just learned how to order and what to ask so I don't
have to do that. It's depressing enough to have to live with this
disease, why make it worse when you're trying to have a good time.
Besides I try to eat something before I go to parties so I can enjoy
myself and not have to ask the "What and the How" questions.
Oh, BTW, Honeybaked Hams Co. said: YES, OUR HONEYBAKED GLAZE HAS WHEAT
IN IT.
THE HONEYBAKED HAM CO. ([log in to unmask]). I was hoping to get one
for the holidays. I used to buy them in the San Francisco Bay Area. I
guess I'll have to go to plan "B".
As usual:
Keep a positive thought,
