The Celiac Disease Foundation is holding a meeting on Sunday Afternoon
November 9, 1997, From 1:00 to 4:00 PM
They will present "A tasty Afternoon of Food and Fun".
Featured will be a Special Presentation by Carol Fenster, PhD on her new
cookbook
"Special Diet Solutions"
Carol will tell us how to eat the foods we love without the ingredients
we can't have!
This book is on healthy cooking without wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs,
yeast, or refined sugar.
All recipes include nutritional data and exchanges
There will also be samples and displays from Authentic Foods, Ener-G
Foods, Erewhon Market, Jowar Foods, Nature's Hilights, and Van's
International Foods. And MUCH, MUCH MORE!
Bring your kids too!
There will also be a short business meeting for the election of
officers.
This meeting is at the Orthopedic Hospital, address 2400 South Flower
Street, in Los Angeles, just south of the Interstate 10 and 110
Freeways. The hospital is located between West Adams Blvd and West 23rd
Street.
If you are traveling via the Santa Monica Freeway (Interstate 10)
transfer to the southbound Harbor Freeway (#110). Take the first
offramp. The first light is 23rd Street. Turn left, (head East)cross
Figueroa and Flower Streets and turn right into the "secured" parking
lot. The second large building on your right will be "Andrew Norman
Hall" There is parking (Lot F) in front of the Building.
If you are approaching via the Harbor Freeway(#110) from the south, Exit
at the Adams Blvd Exit. Turn left one block to Flower Street, Turn right
on Flower and go North to West 23rd Street. Turn Right on West 23rd
Street and go one-half block to turn right again into the secured
parking lot. Then proceed to park in Lot F in front of Andrew Norman
Hall.
