One thing to watch out for in not only canola, but other oils as well, is the
tocopherols (vitamin E) used as a preservative in some. Hain's claims thiers
is from soybeans only, however other manufacturers may use some derived from
wheat germ oil. So, Vitamin E preservatives (certain tocopherols) need to
have the source checked.

A book called Fats that Kill, Fats that Heal by Udo Erasmus gives a nice
flow-chart of all the processing that standard vegetable oils go through
(defoaming, bleaching and deoderizing, and the various other chemicals used
in the typical production process). It also has many other interesting fun
facts about fats.
