Just wanted to let ya'll know that I found a gem in the archives
yesterday...I own a bread machine I got as a wedding present *long*
before going GF, and even longer before the development of machine
manufacturers who provide GF-ness in their products with special cycles
or recipes.
My machine is a 1993 Panasonic BT55P, and it has only given me bricks.
Better tasting than store-bought, but still bricks. Even Gluten-Free
Gourmet recipes, still bricks. And the instructions don't list a
toll-free helpline either.
I found Kate Gregory's adaptation of a B. Hagman recipe yesterday, and
tried it today. Super fluffy bread, tastes great, hubby wants it instead
of his *g*-filled bagels. Still helpful to stir ingredients by hand
before placing pan in machine.
Subject is /R Breadmachine recipe, post date is 7 Dec 1994. Easily
retrieved at the website:

Hope this helps those of you with a significant financial investment in
a bread machine without all the new gadgetry and helps, especially those
of you who are just now going GF and maybe can't convert all your
kitchen items at once. I scrubbed my machine down well before using it
for GF breads and have not had a cross-contamination problem.
Healthful blessings, Amy
