Call me crazy, but I got around school lunches by homeschooling my celiac!
For those of you who don't think homeschooling is an opption, then try
sending a thermos bottle with kids to school. A great one is sold by
"Real Goods" in their catalog. It has three small bowels with tops that fit
inside the thermos bottle. It can be used to keep meals hot or cold. This
thermos is stainless steel (kids can't break this one!), and even has a
spoon attached to the side. Also one of the bowels is for soup, no more
leaking mess!
