The manufacturer of Rice Dream, a milk substitute which I love to drink and
use in cooking, says they use barley in processing. So, even though the
ingredients are gf, the liquid contains a few parts per million of gluten. (I
think I phrased that right.)
So, even though the product appears to have no ill effects on me, is it bad
for me, or can I continue enjoying it? What are the effects of ingestion of
minute amounts of gluten on the CDer who has no apparent reaction?
If you think continued use is a bad idea, do you recommend another milk
substitue?
Thank you very much,
Mara Levin
