I have some of the same concerns as Marian, and wonder if there have been
any studies done on people with malabsorption in general who resolve that
issue (go g-f for celiacs, for example) and how they deal with changes such
as cholesterol and even blood glucose for diabetics. I've always had a lot
of "tolerance" with my diabetes and a cholesterol that generally runs
around 125 (even while having a heart attack!). Now, alas, the "slack" in
the glucose tolerance is gone, and my last cholesterol was a wee bit higher
(not in the too-low range, anyway!). Are there any citations for articles
my doctor and I can look up?
Thanks for your help.

When are we having an online get-together for all of us who live in the
hinterlands (not Albuquerque) of New Mexico? I look on enviously at the
meeting notices for the various celiac meetings elsewhere.
