Hello all. Just an interesting question: About a month ago I had some
surgery for completely unrelated things to CD.  My incisions were covered
by an extra-large Band-Aid brand plaster and a normal sized one as well.
After less than two days of wearing these and changing them every eight
hours I began to notice a deep itching and redness not of the incisions
but where the Band-Aids were. A month later, there is still some redness
at the sites. I am not DH, so could this irritation have resulted from
gluten in the adhesive? I hadn't even thought of it until my s.o.
suggested that it might be a gluten reaction since envelope adhesive
frequently has gluten in it. Just a thought...
