I am at the receiving end of customer product question lines at my new
job (so remember when you make those GF status calls.... it could be a
fellow celiac on the other end of the line!) I had an inquiry about oat
bran by a person with gluten intolerance. I advised him that oats are on
the prohibited list of grains with gluten, and would not advise
ingesting any derivative. What is the scientific scoop on oat bran
exactly?

*Also...... my Mom's GI gave her a product called QUESTRON, to help
alleviate diarrhea. She has multiple digestive problems, including
diverticulosis, colitis, IBS, and I believe either Celiac or gluten
intolerance. Does anyone know if Questron is GF?
