Saw the following note in this month's Self magazine and thought I would
share it:

An Insulin Alternative: Rezulin, a drug recently approved by the FDA, can
effectively lower blood glucose levels while reducing and in some cases,
eliminating- the need for insulin injections in people with type II Diabetes.

Thanks also to all of you have sent words of wisdom on the possibility of
diabetes relating to the skin condition I just recieved a biopsy report on- I
am seeing my internist on Wed who will first do a blood test that shows your
blood sugar levels over the last three months and what pattern they have been
following- normal or not- If that comes back as any type of abnormality, he
will go ahead and do the fasting test- I will post my findings when the tests
are all done and will hope this is all just a big scare.
Best Regards,
Leslie-NYC
