Has anyone considered making bread/hosts of their own and having the presiding
minister/priest bless them for you for communion?

A local minister has agreed to do it for myself and the other celiacs in
the congregation.

Of course it depends on the clergy you have to deal with. But I have
always found it hard to (excuse the pun) swallow that God wouldn't let
someone participate in such a central rite of faith because of being a
celiac.

Even allowing for the platypus, I cannot believe that God would play such
a cruel joke.

Does anyone know what the hosts are made of in China or the Asian
islands?

just my .02 cents...
