I made an inquiry on Inland Valley Tater Puffs by LambWeston and asked if
they might have any other products that might be consumed by the gluten
intolerant. Following is their prompt and very kind reply (which also
included two coupons and four recipes that were GF!)
Janet in Modesto, Calif.

The product contains the following ingredients:
Potatoes, Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Shortening (soybean Oil and/or
Canola Oil), Salt, Corn Flour, Potato Flour, Onion Powder, White Pepper
(listed as Natural Flavoring), Peppercream Salt (listed as natural
Flavoring), Disodium Dihydrogen Pyrophosphate (to promote color retention),
Dextrose.
This product does not contain HVP or Modified Food Starch. Flour
dusted belts are not utilized in the process. LambWeston products are
distributed in the retail market nation-wide. They are distributed under the
Inland Valley and Rus-ettes labels.
Another product that would be acceptable for those with gluten
intolerance is Inland Valley Simply Shreds. This product contains potatoes,
salt and Disodium Dihyrogen Pyrophosphate (to promote color retention.)
*We can be found on the web at www.lambweston.com . I have told our
Sales and Marketing department that we have been receiving many inquiries
about gluten intolerance. Based upon your letter and your comments regarding
the gluten intolerance support group, I have suggested that they highlight
products that would be acceptable for individuals who have Celiac Disease.
:-) They are planning on updating the web site and will be noting what
products are acceptable for gluten intolerance individuals. Thank you for
helping us improve.
Sincerely,
