Although the cigarette smoking in relation to adult onset Celiac disease
post is an interesting theory, having witnessed my own father getting
his lungs suctioned out several times a day in intensive care, and
ultimately dying, the terms "cigarette smoking" and "health" really
don't belong in the same sentence, unless a terms like "cancer causing",
and "detrimental" are attached.
 
It's like saying "ingesting draino will help you lose weight & therefore
reduce your risk of heart attack"--(fine print; it will reduce your
lifespan too!). A bizarre analogy, but somehow appropriate.
