N>As I sit down to order nylon stockings for this year of teaching, I wonder
N>what other celiacs have done about this problem. Although on a gluten free

N>uncomfortable to wear panty hose.

There's an easy answer. Just buy the panty hose in a size to fit the
bloat. I have control hose and light support panty hose for my exercise
class in many sizes. I bloated from 130# (size 8-100 # to homungous
(size 18-20) when I quit smoking. Bigger sizes do the trick. Strangely,
if you lose some weight, the bloat lessens. Exercise also alleviates the
bloat.AMS
