In the Celiac FAQ it is stated that some people can have CD, but the
symptoms are "latent, or all but disappear". Is there any information
concerning the amount of damage caused during this time if the celiac
"cheats?"
I am 18 and will live at college next year. I have been on
a gf diet since I was 2 and I have toyed with the idea of going off my
gf diet just to see what happens. If I am prepared for the potential
effects, is there any sense in this? I am especially interested in
hearing from people who observed their symptoms disappear during
adolescence. Did they re-appear and with what intensity?

Thanks in advance.
