Miscellaneous Notes:
--------------------

Our last meeting was a special event, as Dr. Joseph Murray of the
University of Iowa came to speak to the group. We had our biggest
turnout ever, with 175 people in attendance. For those who were
unable to be there, never fear: Virtually the entire newsletter is
devoted to summarizing his talk. (In fact, there wasn't room to
include the question and answer session he had at the end of his talk;
that will probably be included in a future newsletter.)

A Big Thank You to Marcia Campbell, for all her hard work on the new
shopping guide. Marcia spent many hours gathering the information,
organizing it, entering it in her computer, and formatting it to print
nicely. A big thank you also to her daughter Robin Donagrandi, who
lent her expertise and spent many hours setting up Marcia's computer
to handle all that information and print it out in a consistent
format. Thanks to both and congratulations on a job well done.
