Sorry for another old question, but I didn't have much luck from my archive
search, and there was no public answer to the last query. Is triple sec
distilled from grain, or does it depend on the manufacturer, or is it
generally gf? I've read messages about margaritas (which contain triple
sec), and have seen gf recipes that call for triple sec. I've also had some
confusion as to other flavored liqueurs. The information I've seen refers to
"hard liquor" but I don't know if that means things like peppermint schnapps
or creme de cocoa. Are they generally distilled from grains? The informal
survey that was done here a few months ago was strictly anecdotal, based on
personal reactions to various drinks.
