In a number of past posts some people have mentioned that they felt ill
after eating a steady diet of rice. The following may have some relevance.

In many states, white rice as it is sold by many commercial sources, must
meet state requirements that it be enriched. Once, I tracked how they enrich
rice. It seems they spray it with ingredients in a corn based solution.
Thus, it seems to me that if a person is sensitive to corn he/she could be
getting exposed to it by eating enriched white rice. Some rice producers
will send you unenriched white rice. We switched to brown rice.

It seems that we have to develop expertise in food technology.
