During the initial diagnostic phase, the gastroenterologist ordered
bloodwork to confirm her suspicions of Celiac Sprue & general
reference. The cholesterol & triglyceride levels were quite high. This was
during a period of ingesting gluten, and after 8 months of digestive
instability. I'm wondering if prolonged diarreah & malabsorption, along
with the lack of retaining water would wreak havoc with blood
cholesterol levels. Did anyone else experience this phenomenon?
