>I am a newly diagnosed celiac. I purchased a Black & Decker
>All-In-One-Deluxe Breadmaker, B1600 Series. I have tried several
>different recipes and all have had very gummy centers.

I had the same problem and called Black & Decker's toll free
number which is 1-800-465-6070 in Canada. If you don't live in Canada,
your manual should have a toll-free number for the country in which your
machine was purchased. I received the "Gluten-Free Bread Recipes & Handy
Hints" after specifying which model # I have.

BTW, one of their recipes for gluten-free whole bean flour bread
is made with a bread mix made by Grain Process Enterprises. While the
company has assured me there is no cross-contamination of the wheat
products that they also handle, my three children and myself all react to
this product. It was suggested that it was possibly the bean flour we were
reacting to as some celiacs have problems with this flour in addition to
wheat, oats, rye, and barley. We do not react to bean flour or any of the
other listed ingredients when I make my own bean flour bread from scratch.
Has anyone else had similiar problems with this product???
