Hello All,
 
In recognition of Celiac Awareness Week, 1996, you are invited to attend
a gluten-free Pancake Supper, Friday, October 18, 1996, from 6:30 P.M. to
8:00 P.M. Then Pancake Supper will be held at the Calgary Chapter,
located at 7 - 11 Street N.E.(South of the General Hospital). Doors open
at  5:30 P.M. In addition to a delicious meal, there will be a bake sale,
and gluten-free products will be on sale by suppliers. A dietician will
also be present.
 
Celiac Awareness Week , October 12-20, 1996, has been declared by the CCA
as a time to intensify efforts to increase public awareness of celiac
disease. Celiac disease is a medical condition which seriously inhibits
the body's ability to absorb nutrients. For more information of celiac
