The other test involves drinking a solution of two sugars, one normally
permeable through the intestinal wall, the other not.  The ratio of these
in the urine distinguishes leaky from tight.
 
Perhaps one of these tests will be relied on in the future for oats
testing, given that currently available antibody tests don't pick up oats.
