Hi all-
I noticed the ongoing discussion on how rare Cd actually is in the states.
>From a personal observation, I have come across the following Celiacs outside
of my support Groups
1. My Mom's first cousin
2. A friend of the family
3. A blind date's, best friend's girlfriend
4. An old boyfriend's father
5. A friend from my Pottery class's cousin
6. A Co-worker's friend
7. A Co-worker's neighbor
8. My Internist's receptionist's best friend's child
9. A potential employer's wife
10. A Co-worker's cousin
And I have only been diagnosed about two years now. An interesting
observation especially since not one of these diagnosed celiacs knows any of
the others. Just a wild coincidence or alot more common than we all believe?
I'm curious if other's out there have found this too
Best Regards,
