I recently purchased a package of Arrowhead Mills' wheat/dairy/gluten free
pancake and baking mix. There is a recipe on the back of the package for GF
herb muffins, however, I can't seem to find one particular ingredient. It
calls for 1/4 cup of dried onion. I looked in two grocery stores, but can't
find that specific ingredient. I saw a lot of onion powder and onion salt,
but 1/4 cup for one recipe seems like an awful lot. I asked at both grocery
stores, but they both pointed me over to the spice aisle. Is there somewhere
else I should be looking? Or am I to use onion salt or powder? I also took
a look in the fresh produce sections, next to the fresh onions. No luck.
Thank you in advance. Oh, and by the way, I used this pancake & baking mix
to make pancakes. They really don't taste any different than regular
pancakes! (I'm just starting out this week on a GF diet, so I'm still
learning). Also, I'm not associated with Arrowhead Mills in any way, other
than purchasing their product.
