Thanks to everyone who responded to my message (cd or not cd?) about whether I
should go for a formal diagnosis or just continue with my gluten/lactos-free
diet.  As might have been expected, I got several opposing viewpoints.  I will
summarize the main arguments and post them here as soon as i'm done with finals
(in a couple of weeks) and have a chance to really go through the responses and
tons of info that I have got from this wonderful listserv.
 
Its such a help to know that there are others out there with similar problems
and to have your help and support as I try to sort things out.
