The following comes from the Jan. '96 issue of the _Celiac ActionLine_,
in the "Hidden Gluten" section:

In the past TCBY has provided a list of GF products, so this is a rather
recent development. It may be a case of them just being overly cautious
for fear of a lawsuit. (Sigh.)

You can contact TCBY for more information:

I'm not so sure about this one. In looking through the archives, I
found numerous recipes that use olive oil, and I only found one caution
with respect to it, as follows:

-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

60 minutes recently did a segment on adulterated foods in which they
mentioned about 4 premium brands of olive oils that had been adulterated
with corn oil. Anyone who knows or suspects that they react to corn
should avoid olive oil and see if that helps.

I'm not inclined to agree with CSA on this one. To be on the safe side,
you could use other types of oil instead or contact the manufacturers of
the brands of olive oil you use. But I don't personally believe that
olive oil is a problem for celiacs.
