Within days after my diagnosis for CD, my dietician at Walter Reed
Army Medical Hospital referred me to:
FOOD AND THE GUT REACTION/Intestinal Health Through Diet for Crohn's
Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Diverticulitis, Celaic Disease, Cystic
Fibrosis, Chronic Diarrhea
by Elaine Gottschall BA/MSc, 1986, ISBN 0-9692768-0-X
In the book it suggests additional copies can be had by contacting the
publisher directly at:
The Kirkton Press
R.R. #1
Kirkton, Ontario
NOK 1KO
As a medical lay person, I found it to be just what I needed at a
level I could just grasp. I've since heard it derided by a doctor for
it's simplicity, which confirmed what I liked about it.
