Lorraine, Mr. Kasarda isn't saying you and your family don't react to
vinegar, only that the reaction is probably not a =celiac= reaction but a
specific allergy or intolerance to vinegar or something in it. He and
others have stated many times in the past that, since celiac disease is
caused by a gene that loves to make people have problems ingesting food,
many of us may have other problems in addition to celiac disease.

We do not want to frighten every newcomer to the list or celiac disease
(myself included!) into eliminating everything from their diets that other
celiacs react to.
