Hello all,
1. There was a recent posting inquiring how we could get together. The
April 4 edition of The Journal of Philanthropy has an article on fund
raising entitled "Fighting Little-Known Diseases: small charities struggle
to raise public awareness of rare illnesses, as well as money to cure
them." They refer to the National Organization for Rare Disorders, a
federation of 136 non-profit groups that raise money for and increase
awareness of rare or obscure illnesses. The article cites the importance
of a celebrity or media personality as "champion" as well as scientific
research expertise and other considerations. Hope this helps.

2. Oprah Winfrey did her series on dagerous foods yesterday and
today. I couldn't watch as I had to work. Did we get any coverage?
