I found some excellent semi-sweet chocolate chips made with tofu (you
would never know it!) and unrefined sugar. Great alternative to candy
with corn or wheat dusting. They taste great according to my non-CD or
healthy food friends, too. If you are interested, I get them at a
healthfood store and they are made by Tropical Source. I don't see any
of the few ingredients that could have gluten - but if you're very
sensitive you may want to write for info. It has cocoa & cocoa butter,
chocolate liquer (alcohol free), dehydrated cane sugar, lecithen,
tofu, and vanilla bean. There is an expresso-chocolate flavor I
haven't tried, and a chocolate-peanut butter flavor that is pretty
good. There isn't a phone number on the bag, but there is an address.
Since there seems to be concerns over chocolate, thought I would let
everyone know about these. They are corn free, too! Hope you enjoy
them!
