I'm not a doctor, but I didn't think AIDS was an autoimmune condition, where the
body attacks itself. Surely it's an immune deficiency (the ID part of the name)
caused by the immune system being destroyed by HIV. A gluten free diet can be
prescribed by doctors for conditions other than coeliac (my sister went on one
for a while when she had ME), so that of itself doesn't necessarily indicate a
link either. Not medical advice.
