I am writing a term paper on Celiac Disease for a class I'm
taking and was wondering if anyone has any estimates or
generalities on approximately how many people in the U.S. are
diagnosed with the disease? How many in other countries?

Also, is there anyone in the Manhattan, Kans., area who has CD
(besides me)?

Would anyone like to share their stories with me (must be
brief though) on how/when they were diagnosed? Things like how
long before you were sick, how much weight lossed, other
difficulties, etc.How many in the family have it--things like
that.

I'm a little late with this as my paper is due April 24, but
we were just given the assignment today. "A topic of interest"
was what we were told and "write what you know."

Thanks for any help you might be able to give me!
