I spoke with Mary at the Tylenol Consumer # (1-800-962-5357) about
Tylenol products in general and regular Tylenol in particular. She told
me that the starch is always corn and that they do not add any gluten
containing substances at their facility although they do not claim to be
GF because they can't make that guarantee about the inert ingredients
that they get from suppliers. Mary also made an interesting point. She
said that they haven't heard from any consumers who had a gluten reaction
to any of their products nor had there been any published reports
indicating that their products were detrimental to the health of celiac
patients. Anyway, the makers of Tylenol seem to be very aware of us.
