I've never seen an "icing sugar" with wheat starch in the ingredient list.
I've seen the carageneen, that's the seaweed extract(?) used for
thickening. That's listed as a "questionable ingredient", not a "no, never"
ingredient. Probably due to whatever is used to extract it. Seaweed,
itself, evolved much earlier than wheat and so would be very unlikely to
contain the toxic proteins.
Has anyone gone to manufacturers of these?
