I just read the posting from Sydney Pierce regarding the dx of a cataract. I
have had the dx of the same type of cataract for three years. I was told by
my Dr. that it is an unusual type and I'm young to have a cataract(33yrs). I
was wondering if anyone else has had this same problem? I'm not convinced
that it is not related to my CD as I have never had an injury to my head or
eye. I also think sometimes the Dr.'s are reluctant to associate anything
with CD(my opinion). Also, on my last check-up for my cataract my Dr.
noticed an abnormality on my optic nerve on the opposite eye, I then had a
MRI which revealed "no known cause" for this. I go next week for a six
month check-up and I will again ask my Dr. about the CD connection.
