It is good to know that it isn't all for nothing. My husband and two of my
three children have been on the diet for 6 months. Sometimes, I cry because
I am so tired of the diet. I used to love to cook, but now I dread it.
Today, there was a party at Zak's school (3 1/2) and I had to get-up early
and make the cake (they dry out so quickly, it seems!) and I felt angry and
then I thought of Thanksgiving and Christmas (irrational thinking can really
get out of control, can't it?). But, fortunately, I reminded myself...I only
have to feed them one gluten meal...the next one. I don't have to feed them
this way for eternity RIGHT NOW. I can do it ONE MEAL AT A TIME. This saves
my sanity. Letters like yours do, too. IT IS WORTH IT!!! IT WILL BE
REWARDING!!! EVERYONE WILL FEEL BETTER, BE BETTER, DO BETTER! and...I can
live with that! Thanks for a smile!
