Not to contradict anyone however I am under the understanding that those of
us with celiac sprue are not to eat any gluten that we are aware of. A "low"
gluten communion wafer would not fall into that category. Also, it was
carefully pointed out to me that if there is any dipping of the wafer into
the wine by those celebrating communion, then the wine, too, is
"contaminated". I am making my communion wafers this weekend. Sarah in

Getting towards or perhaps in menopause, I am concerned over the use of
calcium tablets. Since celiac disease affects your bone density, I
thought I was playing safe when I bought a brand from a health food store
that says no artificial colors, flavors or preservative, no chemical
solvents, yeast or gluten. These are made from oyster shells. While
reading in a vitamin book, the book states that oyster shells are not a
good source. One claims calcium carbonate is best and some say calcium
citrate is better. Does any [...]35_8Mar199702:15:

This "no comment" to gluten free verification from the huge Kraft
(America) corporation is bothersome. What do you say we launch a "nice"
campaign of letter writing, or friendly call asking them to....please
validate gluten free status of their products.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease! Maybe if they recieved hundreds of
letters from people saying they would love to give Kraft their business,
if only the company would verify Gf status. We can also point out that
