>Is anyone aware of child language development being affected by Cd?

Lisa, a friend of mine has a son with (then-undiagnosed) CD whose language
stopped developing at 9 months of age, then he lost the little language he
had. He later began redeveloping language at 2 years 3 months of age, after
strenuous speech therapy and other interventions. His language eventually
caught up with normal, but it took several years. His CD was not diagnosed
until after the catch up was complete, but the loss of language was during the
same period when serious diarrhea symptoms first developed.
