Hey everybody: I'm new to the list, nondiagnosed, just have some trouble
with large amts of wheat so I try to vary my diet with lots of different
flours -- Anyway, at Passover, candy sweetened with only honey and made
with potato starch and citric acid, is available in larger grocery stores
that have Kosher depts or at least stock up on some items for the holy
days. It's imported from Israel. Also, natural food stores often carry
macrobiotic candies made with with brown rice syrup -- these are what I
use when traveling by air and in need of extra saliva (I'm very allergic
to corn and react badly to aspartame, sorbitol, xylitol, mannitol, so am
on the lookout for gum-substitutes for flying). Good luck.
