I got the Washington Post yesterday and their restaurant reviewer had
gone to a place in Bethesda, MD, called OODLES NOODLES. Evidently it's
a suburban branch of a downtown-DC restaurant. I noted with envy that
among the choices of noodles were TWO different rice noodles-- thin
vermicelli and wide flat ones. I don't know what else is in their
food, but if I lived in that area I would certainly check them out!
The reviewer noted that the Bethesda place is small-ish, very popular,
therefore on the crowded/noisy side, and is currently not taking
reservations.
