If so, do they turn out well? Do you just use pancake batter, or is there
some sort of special waffle batter?<

Dear Ingrid and fellow waffle lovers
I had been making my own waffles using Arrowhead Mills Wild Rice Waffle &
Pancake mix- adding in my own extras like chocolate Chips, dried cranberries,
cocnut, etc. They are very dense though and a little thick to swallow. They
freeze well though and I usually bake a bunch and freeze them. Actually this
week I was all out of bread and didn't have time to bake a loaf, so I used
one of the waffles to eat my tuna fish on. I think my office mates thought
I'd lost my marbles but believe it or not, Tuna on a choc. chip coconut
waffle was not as disgusting as one would think. Personal opinion though,
Vans are the best- taste better than I ever remember any non gf waffles ever
tasting. Throw some ice cream or fresh fruit on them and they are wonderful.
Good Luck!
Leslie- NYC
