Lots of travel questions coming up- The book "Against the Grain", by Jax
Peters Lowell has a "Photocopy & pack" wheat allergy & gluten intolerance
explanation cards in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portugese,
Swedish, Danish, Hebrew, Russian, Greek, Polish, Japanese & Chinese. These
could be fun for people who just "don't get it", in terms of understanding
that a little gluten can make you alot sick.

This book is a treasure chest of information, humor, the psychology of Celiac
disease. Jax will have you laughing in no time with her hands-on humor,
while still taking the subject seriously & offering infinite references &
sources. Published in 1995, most of the information is very up to date, and
has chapters entitled:

    Have allergy will travel
    Dinner is in the Mail
    Restaurant Assertiveness training
(My personel favoriite) Attitude. Attitude. Attitiude.

The best book on the subject I have seen yet...."Run don't walk to pick up
your copy" ISBN# 0-8050-3624-5 Hardcover $22.50(US) $31.50 (Canada)
Published by Henry Holt & Co. NY NY
