We toast our papadams in the toaster. You have to pay close attention while
you're doing it, and, depending on size, you may have to turn them once,
but it's a very lowfat way of crisping them. They are a great substitute
for chips with dips. Experimenting with Indian yogurt dips and chutneys is
fun, too.

I have on file a recipe for papadams from Crackers! if you're interested,
though I've yet to try making them from scratch. They are impossible to
find here, so if anyone finds a mail order source, please let me know!
