Yesterday I spoke with Glenna Vance, Red Star Yeast representative.
Red Star has a new bread machine just out on the market that works
very well with gluten-free flours. This new machine is being sent
to Wal-Mart stores nationwide. It will make a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.
Red Star said that it has an excellent shape to the stirrer/paddle
and really does a very good job of mixing the dough.

The new Red Star Bread Machine had only 1 knead cycle (20 minutes)
1 rise cycle (60 minutes) and a bake cycle. It does have a separate
'dough only' setting where dough can be kneaded only.

Cost: $89.+ Not sure if gluten-free bread recipes are included, as
spoke only of gluten-free breads being tested in this machine.
FYI: Glenna Vance will be a guest speaker at the CSA Conference in
San Francisco and will speak about this new machine.
