In addition to my question earlier about how are biopsies being done, I am
also interested in its history. I believe the biopsy was developed in 1955
and popularized in 1957. Joe Young, at last year's ACS conference said the
biopsy should be done in the distal duodenum. Did they do them in the
jejunum in the past? Is there a variety of opinions as to its location?
